Charles H. Flowers wins PG County Lacrosse Championship 

On Monday, May 9, the Charles H. Flowers Jaguars Boys Lacrosse team defeated Gwynn Park High School 10-4 to win the 4A County Championship. 

This season the Jaguars were led by senior Iche Mbachu, who tied for a team-high 18 goals. They also have a reason to be excited for their future within sophomore Nnabugo Anigbo. Anbingo also tied for a team in goals with 18 and led the Jaguars in assists with five this season. 

The Jaguars have also crowned county champions for the season after finishing undefeated (4-0) with the best record in Prince Georges County. The Maryland 4A Lacrosse State Playoffs will begin on May 11, and Flowers will play Eleanor Roosevelt High School at home on May 13 in the Regional Semifinals.
