BOWIE STATE ATHLETICS: Calling all Bulldog softball alumni! The2023 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) champions in the Bowie State University softball team has partnered with Prince George County Parks and Recreation to host a celebrity/alumni softball game on Saturday, Aug. 31 at the Prince George’s Stadium also known as the Bowie Baysox Stadium.The celebrity/alumni game will kick off with a free youth softball clinic for girls ages 6-12 at 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Followed by the youth clinic, the celebrity/alumni game’s first pitch is slated for 7 p.m. Along with BSU alumni softball players, there will also be special celebrity guests in attendance.The event is free to Bowie State students, faculty and staff with a valid school ID. Registration for the event can be found here.
