IT TAKES TWO, INC 2023 College Access Tour

After a three year hiatus due to the pandemic, IT TAKES TWO, INC is hosting its third annual College Access Tour (CAT) on Monday, April 3, 2023.

The tour was created in 2018 to give our youth access to college life. Experiencing life on campus for a day is a great way to help them decide if college is in their life after plan… or perhaps not. However, we know that college is not the pathway for every student, so we are changing our tour starting with this year to add community colleges and trade schools. So, the tour is still about access, but now it is also about giving them more choices.

We are traveling to Prince George’s Community College and Morgan State University.

Registration includes:

  • Tour
  • Travel
  • Lunch (at Morgan State University)
  • Registration to our 2023 College Readiness Workshop

The 2023 School Choices Readiness Workshop will be held virtually on March 21, 2023 at 7 pm EST.

  • How to find scholarships and pay for college/trade school debt free
  • How these schools fit in their career plans
  • How to make the decision to go to a traditional college, trade school, or community college
  • FAFSA
  • What questions to ask while on the tour, things to be mindful of, and other topics to make the most of the tour experience

The tour is open to students in 9 th-12th grade located in DC, MD, and VA.

The pickup location will be in Annapolis, MD.

This is an IT TAKES TWO, INC’s Positioned for Greatness Youth Program (P4GYP) event.
