Bowie State Men’s and Women’s Basketball Adds CIAA Broadcast Games to Schedules

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Bowie State University has been chosen for several men’s and women’s basketball games to broadcast live through HBCU GO TV or the Black College Sports Broadcasting Network (BCSBNS), a subsidiary of PRC Communications.

In the regular season, HBCU GO will highlight five men’s and women’s doubleheaders for a total of 10 conference matchups. BCSBN, will be televising 14 men’s basketball games in the regular season.  

Bowie State’s CIAA television schedule started with men’s basketball game against Claflin on Jan. 7. Other notable BCSBN tv games featuring Bowie State will be on Jan. 21 vs. Virginia Union (3 p.m.),  Jan. 28 against Virginia (3 p.m.), a road tilt at Virginia Union on Feb. 11 (12 noon) and its home finale and senior day game against Lincoln (PA) on Feb. 18 at 12 noon from A.C. Jordan Arena.

HBCU GO will showcase Bowie State men’s and women’s basketball on Jan. 18 at Elizabeth City State with game times at 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. and again on Feb. 15 at Virginia State with start times slated for 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.
This is the second season of a partnership that grants HBCU GO cable, linear, streaming, broadcast, VOD, and pay-per-view rights to CIAA contests. This is also the first season in a collaboration between the conference and PRC Communications, which started with the 2022 football season. 
Additionally, the entire conference slate, all regular season home games, and tournament games are available through pay-per-view (live and on-demand) on the conference’s very own CIAA Sports Network
The HBCU GO broadcast can be seen on television via MYNET-WRBC, online at HBCUgo.tv, or through their app on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Apple TV.
