DMV Basketball Talent set to Shine Throughout March Madness

By: Matt Phillips – DMV Digest

The NCAA March Madness tournament will begin on Thursday, and local DC Maryland, and Virginia basketball talent will be on full display in almost every game. It’s no secret that the DMV produces some of the top basketball players every year. But the big dance gives some players a national stage to shine, and others a chance to win a National Championship.

On Sunday, the brackets were set, and the Virginia Tech Hokies and Richmond Spiders were the only two college teams from the DMV to punch their ticket. But 37 players from our area will represent 22 different teams in the 64 team tournament. Take a look at the complete list of teams and players, and who you can see them play for starting on Tuesday night in the play-in games.
